However, the rain and the dust did not ruin my happiness. You guys must have applied a magic coat of something that repelled the rain and the dust. It has been one week since you transformed my Sebring into a brand new vehicle and it still looks exactly the same way it looked when I picked it up last Wednesday. You cannot imagine how many compliments I have got for my Sebring. Two days ago I overheard a couple of guys at a parking lot in DC saying, "Man! That dude must spend a fortune taking care of that car!" I could not help but smile with pride thinking that the investment was not that bad when you consider the pleasure you get by driving a "brand new 2000 Sebring" and the admiration of tons of people around me."

" I recently had to take a friends vehicle to get detailed and I ran across Rob's Car Wash. They are an environmentally friendly car wash and detail service; they do not use any harmful chemicals, and reuse all of their water in the automatic car wash. Also they only use hydraulic pumps, to eliminate oil use. They are quick and friendly and have really great prices as well.

Next time you need cleaning done to your vehicle I strongly recommend taking it to Rob's.

" I figured I could pass along another bit of good news. Early last week I dropped by and had Rob’s Detail Team give the truck a little TLC in the form of an express wash and wax. As usual the truck turned out great!

I had this service done in anticipation for an upcoming show.
My truck club (Ford Truck World, Virginia Chapter) hosted a Truck and SUV show at Meadows Farms Nursery in Ruckersville this past Saturday (October 20).

The weather was supposed to be gorgeous, but it rained Friday. On Saturday morning the truck still looked pretty good. The waxes had caused the rain to bead up and slide right off the paint. Taking this as a good sign I went ahead down to the nursery. The rain had made the staging area a muddy mess. Not to be discouraged I grabbed a bottle of speed detailer and some basic cleaning supplies. With a water sprayer and a microfiber towel it took me maybe 5 minutes to spot clean the truck, again the water just beaded right up and the truck looked great.

I won't lie and say my truck is a show vehicle; it's a 2003 with over 82,000 miles. However, the show judges were impressed and I earned a Top 20 trophy. The judges wouldn't divulge the actual scores, but with enough begging I was finally told that I was just outside of the Top 3. Considering some of the others vehicles there, that's pretty impressive.

I wouldn't have even bothered to go if the truck hadn't looked great Saturday morning. Not only did the express wax service hold up to the dirty rain, it also held up to mud at the show!
